Swine Flu: Construction equipment supplier offers face mask stockpile
Health and safety equipment specialist Total Protection UK today said it had a “huge supply” of face masks as suppliers around the UK struggle to keep up with demand.
Swine Flu experts have predicted that a worldwide pandemic could kill up to 750,000 in the UK alone, leading to panic buying of face masks.
Total Protection UK said it had a “huge supply” of masks at “reasonable prices” as it anticipated the Swine Flu outbreak to get considerably worse over the next few weeks.
“Our masks have been selling like hot cakes, and fortunately we have large quantities of stock to cope with demand. If consumers are having trouble finding masks online, they should visit our website and we can help,” said a spokesman.
“I would advise anyone purchasing a mask for the protection of Swine Flu to ensure that they meet FFP2 or FFP3 standards, the masks we offer are lightweight, comfortable for everyday use and the ranges offer optional exhalation valve for greater comfort.
“When these outbreaks occur it is essential that you take precautions should a global pandemic occur, that way, when everyone is stock piling masks at the very last minute, you can rest safe in the knowledge that you are prepared when it comes to both yours and your families health,” said the spokesman.
