Singapore's Circle Line criminal trial started

The criminal trial of the project director responsible for the Nicoll Highway section of Singapore's Circle Line that collapsed in May last year started last week. Ng Seng Yoong is accused of failing to act in response to instrumentation in the days before the collapse. Trials of three other men facing charges are expected to start in December.
