Race for Structural Awards begins

Run by the Institution of Structural Engineers, the awards aim to recognise and reward the work of the world's most talented structural designers.There are 11 categories, with an overall Supreme Award for Structural Engineering Excellence awarded to the finest example of structural engineering design from the winners of the main categories.Structures entered must have been completed in the last year between 7 April 2006 and 13 April 2007.The final deadline for submissions is Friday 13 April 2007 and the project shortlist will be announced Friday 3 August 2007. The winning and commended projects will be announced at the gala awards ceremony on Wednesday 14 November 2007 at Lawrence Hall, Royal Horticultural Halls, London.For more information go to www.structuralawards.org
