Four storey building collapse in New York
A four-story residential and commercial building collapsed on Sunday in Brooklyn, New York injuring four.
According to reports, inspections by the New York Building Department had noted vertical cracks running from ground floor to roof level as well as interior cracks on the third and fourth floors.
Repairs had been ongoing to repair the cracks.
New York City officials are now investigating the cause of the collapse
A four-story building attached to the fallen building suffered significant damage and will also have to be demolished.
This is the second building to collapse in New Tork in the last 3 months. At the end of April, a five storey building collapsed in lower Manhattan
