Showcase your innovation in NCE's Innovation Awards 2008 and gain profile, praise and plaudits.

With the credit crunch in full swing, major infrastructure projects about to kick off across the UK, a government strapped for cash, and clients always hungry for more, the need for the construction industry to innovate has never been higher.

So where better to demonstrate this ability to innovate than in NCE's annual Innovation Awards, once again being held at Civils from 18 to 20 November at Earls Court 2, London.

A now well-established feature of the show, this year the competition will be even bigger and better. Because from this year, anyone, not only Civils' exhibitors, are eligible to enter.

There are two categories: Innovative Product and Innovative Service. For both category the idea has to be innovative, but more than that, fit for purpose and commercially viable. If a product or service can demonstrate a truly innovative achievement and boosts industry performance it could take home the coveted title of NCE Innovation of the Year.

Shortlisted projects will be celebrated as they are revealed in here over the coming weeks. In addition these projects will be showcased and the winner announced at this year's Civils Show.

Previous winners can vouch for the impact winning an Innovation Award can have on your business. Last year's winner of the Innovative Service award ConstructionResale was thrilled with the level of exposure received throughout the three-day Civils 2007 show.

Will Goode, creator of ConstructionResale, decided to launch his online resale marketplace at last year's show and at the time said: "It is a huge marketing opportunity and for us and the response has been absolutely fantastic."
