Five men and one woman have beaten off competition from a record 118 worldwide entries to be finalists in this year's Graduate Awards. The most inspirational of the six will be chosen as overall NCE Graduate of the Year and named at an awards lunch next month.
The 2013 NCE Graduate Awards were open to any engineer who graduated with a civil engineering -or related - first or postgraduate degree in 2012. Any postgraduate degree must have followed on directly after the first degree without any gap.

To enter the 2013 NCE Graduate Awards you must have completed an ICE accredited civil engineering – or related – degree in 2012. Six finalists will share a record prize pot of £4,000, with the overall winner receiving a £1,500 cheque and buckets of praise at an awards lunch packed with industry leaders. Up to two runners up will each win £700 and up to three highly commended entries £350.
